Halloweens almost here! And how better to show some spirit than inspire a spread from filmmaker Tim Burton? Personally i love most of his work for his dark and spooky pieces so i adore this spread in this recent by Tim Walker.
Bones and mummys? yea I’m totally into that! I’m also into the Louis Vuitton and Atelier Versace adorned with red roses in the background setting.

in risk of this sounding very selfish, i need some time to myself.
i want so much to keep this blog rolling(which i will in good time) but i cant get out of this mind set of summer.
you know?, days of total relaxation and no deadlines. ive already given most of it up for my pre college classes.
soo, just to inform all you that have been reading that im not going to be posting much more then occasional pictures for the next 3 weeks until school starts. by that time i will have my fill of leisureliness and get back to work.

As the summer comes closer to an end so does my time at the academy of arts. these past few weeks Ive learned lots and made new friends. Ive gotten a taste of what life will be like during college and i feel only a step closer to being ready for the rest of my life. i now have a bigger idea of what i want to do and don’t want to do for the rest of my career . ill miss the people, especially in my photography class where we would sneak onto facebook, fit into lockers, and go on wild rides on the shuttle bus.
on one side I’m glad that i wont have to wake up earlier than 11 or sit for 3 hours during lectures, but I’m sad to not be in my favorite city everyday and make new friends.
i, of course, want to keep in touch so find me on facebook, or preferably myspace and we’ll kick it before school.
i will continue this blog even though my fashion journalism class is over. so keep reading please!

Black, gray, and white are the monotonous colors we reach for in our closets and walk by on the street. Even now during this recession, dark and boring colors are being used more often like blacks and browns because its just easier. Of course we cant deny that this is a very classic look to wear black and colors can sometimes be intimidating, but there what make fashion fun and interesting. it wouldn’t hurt to be creative! a bright colored pair of pants, a scarf, a jacket, or a trench can liven up any ones day. these peices are like a reminder to be happy and fun with life.

personally id much rather just show a picture of me wearing this outfit, but unfortunately i haven’t been in front of the camera lately. so ill just try out polyvore!
so about 2 weeks ago i was rummaging through my giant pile of shoes that i never wear to give to charity. i came across these old red and gold fabirc Chinese slippers i picked up from San Fransisco china town.
when would i ever wear these?
who actually wears shoes like this then tourists and Asians?
well that would be me, now at least ahaha.
Ive found plenty of different ways to make these current with bright leggings and destroyed jeans. there defiantly different then the usual sneakers Ive been wearing to school everyday. im hoping for a chance to walk my way back up to china town and buy a couple more of these only in brighter and more intricate designs.
(my shoes dont look like that but it close enough)
